Happy Thanksgiving

Molly had her first thanksgiving and definitely ate her fair share. We ran out of bottles. I cannot keep up with her demands. She easily downs 6-8 ounces on the bottle and when it's just the boob she always hungry. Luckily she's been sleeping about 8 hours a night so I can at least get one good pump in, but I can never seem to get ahead of the game. We had family over for thanksgiving and basically just hung out at our place for the day. Molly loves her new swing chair, but she was held by relatives for the most part. Will post pics soon.

7.5 hours

She had another good night with 7.5 hours. Once she was changed and fed she crashed out for another 3.5 hours. I hope she keeps this up!

Sleeping through the night...

I like this whole feeding on demand thing. Molly slept 8 hours Monday night and then 6 hours last night. We got to the cabin a little late and the first night always takes some getting used to. After 6 hours she woke up, had her diaper changed, fed, and then went back to sleep for another 4 hours. I'd say we're doing pretty good so far. I hope she keeps this up!

one month check-up

Molly weighed in at 11 lbs 5 oz (minus 1 oz for her diaper) and measured at 23 inches long. I'm not sure what her exact head measurement was, but she was in the 95-97th % for weight, height, and head measurements. She's doing great. I need to get out her tummy time mat and have her spend some "gym" time on that, but she's already keeping her head up quite a bit. She can also feed on demand now so no need to wake her up after one of her marathon eatings. N got a little over 8 ounces in her before we left. I can't keep up!

One month old!!

11lb 6oz. What a lil piggy!

more pics

Here are some pics I took over the last week.

7.5 ounces, 30 minutes

That is what Molly consumed this morning when N got up to give her a bottle. She has her one month checkup on Monday and I'm going to verify with her doc that it's ok to let her wake up on her own at night. I'm pretty sure she'll sleep most of the night through at this point. We've been waking her up to change her and feed her and she's been going right back to sleep. My parents stopped by on their way home from Tahoe and she did another 5 ounces on the bottle plus some boob time and is out again. Not too surprised she is sleeping so much today since she was pretty alert from 6:30 pm until midnight last night.

Woo Hoo!

After constantly pulling up my maternity jeans these last few weeks I finally went up in the attic and brought down my regular jeans. They fit! Sure my paunch is still there, but at least I can wear my regular clothes again. My only problem is some of my shirts are too short because of my ta-tas being so damn big. But that I can deal with.
