Quote of the day

I walk into the living room and see Molly "talking" on the phone.

Me: Who are you talking to?
Molly: Chehon.

This is Chehon.

B is for bowling

Molly went bowling for the very first time for Jamie's 9th birthday party. At times I swore the ball was going to turn around and roll back to us it was going so slow. Molly had a blast and that's all that matters.

Let's do this!
And it's going... slowly... slowly...
Let's try this again with a little more oomph!
Who? Me?
What do you mean I can't sit here?
What? This isn't proper form?
Once more with feeling...
Happy Birthday Jamie!
Love the shoes.
Not too bad for a first game...
Yes, EACH turn took this long... if not longer.

Capitola Beach

Aunt Tracey was in town this weekend. It was a belated birthday celebration for her (July 11th) and an early one for Grandpa Marsh (July 23rd). Aunt Tracey, Granny, and Grandpa had spent Thursday night at a lovely B&B right in Capitola. Molly and I drove down on Friday to meet them at the beach. Molly was all excited to go swimming and I had to explain to her the difference between the ocean and the lakes she went swimming in during our stay in MN. When we arrived Aunt Tracey and I took Molly down to the beach so she could experience the waves. We had barely finished setting up before Molly tore off her clothes and got into her two piece. She is very proud of her new Hello Kitty two piece and tells everyone she runs into about it.
Aunt Tracey explaining to Molly the dangers of undertow.
A rogue wave almost took off with our shoes.
"Aunt Tracey, don't let me go!"
Smile for the camera!
It's gonna get ya!
Aunt Tracey is the best!

Keeping Grandpa warm. Or is it the other way around?
