Nekkid baby!

The only suit Molly had was her birthday suit.

Hot Tub Time Machine

This was taken yesterday at the cabin the Chouns (pictured), the Jodoins, and the Connally/Shipmans rented this past weekend up in Truckee (north side of the lake).

Sorry Hun, this was the best pic I was able to get.

Cheeks? Check! Hands? Check! Feet? Check!

Homemade soup simmering on the stove. Fire getting started in the fireplace. Marshmallows for dessert. Friends to share it with. Life is good.

Look! I'm in snow and not-crying!

Baby steps, I guess. ;)

One way to unplug...

That little bump is our satellite dish. Not exactly motivated to dig it out and realign it.

Looking out our bedroom window (snow is up to the bottom of it) and looking at the stairs leading down to the garage. Standing on that covered path way and the snow comes up mid-chest.

Can I drive?

Sorry bug, it's going to be a while before we let you take the wheel.

Lazy Saturday

N got up with Molly this morning and then chased her around the Rose Garden. It's nap time for everyone!

How old are you?

Molly and I were at the park the other day and one of the fathers there asked Molly how old she was.

Molly: I'm one and two.
Father: You're two years old?
Molly: No, I'm one and two.
Father looks a little confused.
Molly sighs.
Molly: I'm one and two.
Molly holds up one hand with one finger up and her other hand with two fingers up.
Molly: One and two.
Molly then holds up one hand with three fingers up.
Molly: I'm three years old. One and Two.

Father turns to me, impressed: So, she can count, huh?

Yup, we're in trouble.

Got static?

This was taken yesterday at the park up the street.

Chasing bubbles and doggies

On Superbowl Sunday we headed up to Grandma Lucille's. The weather was gorgeous so most of the day was spent out back watching Molly chase bubbles and the doggies. The light is not the best on the second video as the sun had set and it was getting dark out.

Fun with Apps

N is having a blast playing around with Robert and Molly and a new app that distorted their voices. Ahh, bedtime routines have sure changed since I was a kid.

Finding Nemo

To reward ourselves for our month of solitude I decided to head down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium today. It was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous out. Calm water, sunny blue skies, no wind... aka perfect beach conditions. So, our lilly white asses headed INSIDE to look at all the fishies. Hey, we took the leisurely route back to the car... yeesh!

First up, penguins!

Little Miss Bossy!
(actually she was telling me she was only going to pick up ONE plastic fishie)

We found Nemo!

"Hey honey why don't you sit in the giant clam shell so I can take your picture? Ok... or you could just make yourself right at home... that works too!"

Molly pointing out Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and Gil.

And Peach!

COMPLETELY mesmerized (the lights changed from red to green)

The Kelp Forest

The big blur? Oh, that would be her SHOE trying to KICK the camera away!

For the rest of the pictures click here.

Molly was chasing the penguin, but for some reason kept calling the penguin Tinkerbell. I suppose they do glide quite effortlessly.

All clear!

Molly had her follow up doc appt and finally got the all clear to play with other kids again. This means she can finally go to swim class (missed the first 4 already) and we can finally see friends again. Yay!
