Halloween

N took pictures on his camera and I *think* he got one of Molly and Temperence before we went out trick o' treating.  Hopefully he'll get those online soon.  In the mean time here are some pics from Molly at school and Halloween night that I took on my iPhone.

T is for thrilled

For someone that buttered me up for TWO quarters (Yeesh!), she doesn't look that into it.

Apparently I have a teenager...

I just (as in less than two minutes ago) woke Molly up when I poked my head into her room to make sure she was still breathing.  She wanted to sleep on the air mattress last night (it was still inflated from Temperence's sleepover).  Apparently it was VERY comfortable.

My baby zucchini?

Why yes that is a zucchini squash.  It came from Lucille's garden.  It became Italian stuffed squash.

Pumpkin carving

Molly really wanted to wait until daddy was home from his business trip to carve her pumpkin.  I picked up some window "stickers" (the static cling kind) for Halloween decorations.  A few of them had pumpkins and Molly used one of those as the basis of their design.  Here are the final results:

(Molly took this one with my phone)

Mmmm.... pancakes!

The girls helped me make pancakes this morning. Some with chocolate chips.

Temperence sleepover

Temperence spent the day with us.  The girls played in Molly's room (using every toy they could get their hands on).  They played outside since it was a gorgeous day.  They took a break to watch Cinderella and eat some popcorn:

Then we made some peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips (supposed to resemble pumpkin faces, but I had two little helpers).  Then we went to a lovely Halloween Party in the evening.  The girls had a  blast in the jumpy house/slide.

Took a time out for some cookies on the back steps.

Temperence playing a little piano pirate style.

Cuddling down with some Curious George before bed time.

Catching up on blog posts...

I think the oldest one I created today was for Robert's 5th birthday party.  I changed the post date on that to the date the pictures were actually taken so it's showing up as posted August 11th.  The rest of the new blog posts start with Granny's hair stylist assistant (September 22nd) moving forward.  I like to make the posts with the date the pictures were actually taken so they are easier to find again.  Sorry for any confusion to those that come straight to this blog and don't catch up via Google Reader or something similar.

Also, all the pics I took at Disneyland (on my iPhone) are here.

Temperence's 3rd Birthday Party

N uploaded some pics taken at Temperence's 3rd birthday party (back in August) and the gallery can be found here.

Here are some of my favorites...

Watching the new Tinkerbell movie with Granny

9:30 am

This has to be a growth spurt.

We drove to her belly dancing class last night.  Molly was even wearing the new belly dancing costume Grandma Lucille made her for her birthday to show her teacher.  Halfway across the parking lot she bursts into tears (I swear she was smiley and chatty two seconds before) and tells me she wants to go home because she's tired. Molly then falls asleep on the drive home.  She was in bed for the night by 7:45 pm.  Little one slept through until 9:30 am this morning!!!

Molly and Connor's joint birthday party

Molly and Connor celebrated their birthdays with friends at Airborne Gymnastics (where Molly attends).  Nathan took pics with his camera... one day you'll see them.  Hopefully one day soon.  In the meantime here are a few I snapped of Molly showing everyone what to do on the obstacle course.

Hrm... maybe we should have put out more bundtinis... looks a little sparse next to Connor's cake.

Mom, I'm working... gotta fix this...

Pssst...

"I'm Mother Gothel."

Uesugi Pumpkin Farm

Molly and I joined the Sneeds to the Uesugi Pumpkin Farm.  When we arrived the fog had not had a chance to burn off yet and I was a little worried about the lack of jackets on my part.  We took the Yukon so we could all fit in one vehicle and my emergency back up jackets are in the back of my car.  It wasn't too cold once we got out and the sun quickly warmed things up.  By the time we took off we were all done with the heat.

We did a hay ride, rode the carousel, and took a little train through the pumpkin patch.  The girls had a great time and it was fun watching them take everything.  We then headed over to pick out our pumpkins.  By that time between the sun and the dust we were all ready to get in the car and go home.

The full gallery can be found here.

Yes, that is the amount in POUNDS.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

The full gallery can be found here.

Molly's school went to the Queen's Pumpkin Patch in Saratoga.  It was a hot day (reached 90), but the kids had a blast.  They were each given their own little pumpkin to paint, went on a tour to look at all the different types, and spent some time in the petting zoo area.
