Thanksgiving placemat
Molly made a placemat at school for Thanksgiving. It says what she's thankful for:
"I am thankful for Mommy, Daddy & school."
Uncle Kyle visit
Over Thanksgiving weekend Uncle Kyle was in the area and came by for a few hours. Molly demanded some undivided attention and suckered him into a game of Buzz Lightyear Operation:
The hobby shop was also on the agenda and when we got back everyone got out their new toys.
Molly's turn.

Thanksgiving
Why yes I *am* behind on my blog posts... why do you ask?
Thanksgiving was pretty mellow. Grandma Lucille and Papa J joined us and we all ate waaaaay too much food. That seems about right. I didn't snap too many pics, but here are a few from the day:
The rest of the pictures can be found here.

My little gymnast!
Yup, I definitely think it's time to get Molly enrolled in some sort of gymnastics class again.

Look out!
Molly wants to drive!
Sorry darlin', let's discuss this again when you can actually reach the pedals... Then push it out another decade... Or two.

For all the fathers...
For all the Fathers to whom Christmas means discerning directions written by those with an interesting take on the English language.

Christmas Eve
We had a lovely dinner at Florentine's (a Marsh family tradition) and now Molly is getting a special Christmas Eve present from Granny and Grandpa. It's her very own gardening kit. She wants to leave now and go work in the garden.
Maybe when it's light out... and Spring.

R.I.P. Gabe
Unfortunately the reason for our trip down south was a memorial service for Uncy Gabe. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
Gabe Zapata 9/9/76 - 12/15/11
(Memoral service was held in this Windmill Chapel at the Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, CA. Loved ones were spilling out the door, standing room only. Only fitting.)
Auntie Lisa
Molly wanted... no, demanded... that Auntie Lisa join them for this picture. Then they were flying. Yeah, Molly was tired.
Pit stop in Santa Barbara
Well, technically that's Goleta, but not a lot of people know where Goleta is. We drove down to Santa Monica on Wednesday and had a late lunch with Uncle Kyle on our way. Molly spent a good half an hour running around that tree before we got back in the car with another group of kids.
Molly self portrait
This was taken a few days ago when Molly was playing games on my phone. Why yes that is a Chai butt you see.

Seattle visit, full gallery
The next gallery N got around to uploading was the one for our July trip to see Aunt Tracey. There are some great shots so take a look here for the full gallery.
Here are some of my favorites:

Ibiza pictures are (finally) up!
N is a tad bit behind in his picture editing/sorting/tagging/uploading. Back in July N went to Ibiza, Spain with a few friends for some much needed R&R. The focus of the trip was to check out all the clubs/music that Ibiza is known for. Not exactly a kid friendly trip so Molly and I stayed home. N finally got the complete picture gallery up. If you'd like to take a look you can find the pictures here.

Quote of the week.
Molly stepped one of her toys and did a spectacular flailing tumble to the ground. Quickly sitting up she looks at me (bewildered) and says "am I okay???". I say: "Yes, dear, you're fine."... Molly: "Phew!... alright!!!"

Frosty the Snowman
Molly: Oh look at that Frosty.
Me: It's nice
Molly: It's magical!
Me: Mmmm hmmm.
Molly: Can I have it for my room?

I don't have a chance to respond before she blurts out:
Ask daddy!
