Silver Creek Sportsplex

Last spring (uh, have I mentioned N's behind on pics?!?) we went to the Silver Creek Sportsplex for Open Play on their bouncy houses and slides with the Sneeds.

Temperence feeling things out:

Molly planning her next move:

Already winded Chris???

Molly got stuck at the top of the slide so I went up to help her. Apparently there was a bit of a leak and the slide started to collapse in on itself... taking me with it. So, what did N do? Why document it of course!!!

Thanks for the moral support Chris!!!!

Molly: That was hilarious!

In her element.

Wahooooooooooo!!!!

Awww yeah!!!!

Of course.

She could do this ALL day folks!

All About Molly

I loved her answer to "When I grow up, I want to be..."

Yes, she said doctor to animals quickly followed by or a peashooter.

Super Molly

In the last week or so Molly has really embraced the cape that Grandma (Lucille) made for her.

M is for motivation

Molly: Mommy, can I play on your iPad?
Me: Go write your name on the white board and then you can play on my iPad.
Molly: *exasperated sigh*

Helping Grandma

Molly is helping Grandma with some yarn for her knitting project. Well, helping... playing... her intentions are good.

It's good to know someone can teach her all these skills. Daddy is better at this sort of thing than Mommy.

First autograph

I never thought this day would come. Molly is an excellent writer... on the iPad. I was afraid she'd never hold an actual writing instrument. Then earlier this evening she came out of the office trying to stick this to her shirt like a name tag. I asked her where the Y was and she told me she ran out of room. She went back into the office and wrote it on the back. Then she got mad at herself when it came out like a T and started to crumple up the paper to throw it away. Luckily I got her to give it to daddy rather than tossing it herself.

Mommy's little helper

My goofy girl

This was taken on one of our post school walks to the Rose Garden.

Furry kids

I took this earlier in the week when Michael, Chai, and Sadie were snoring away on the futon.

Tough life, huh?

Quote of the day

Molly and I were walking back from the park when she asked if she could hang off of me. This entails me hooking my arm so she can swing off it like a monkey. She does this for a minute and then we continue walking home. Then Molly says to me:

Mommy, you're a good hooker.

Yeah, add that to the list of things I'd never thought I'd hear my daughter say to me.
