Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon

One of my jobs at Molly's school is Social, Celebration & Event Coordinator for the class.  The Kinder and TK classes were tasked with hosting the Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon.  The theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  We sent cut outs home to families to write their appreciations on.  They were in the shapes of various food items found in the book.  Those were bound into little books with binder rings and presented to each teacher and staff member.  I got to the school early to help with set up and then stepped out to cover the front desk so the school secretary could join in on the festivities.  Based on the applause and laughter I could hear I gathered it was a success.  

Amelia's 3rd Birthday Party

Molly and I headed to Airborne Gymnastics to celebrate Amelia's 3rd Birthday.  It's been a while since we've been there and right at the start Molly slipped off the balance beam and landed hard on her side.  She was a little upset, but quickly got over it once the party started up.

Turbo Pre-Screening

Netflix has produced a series based on the movie Turbo called Turbo FAST.  They were offering a pre-screening for employees and their families.  

You know the recent cold snap is over when the flip flops come out…

Piper Play Date

There was another art event after school so we checked that out before heading back to our house for a play date.  

Molly drew this for Piper.  It reads "I miss you Piper, Molly  Best Friends Forever."

Molly made me an iPad… this one is showing Frozen.

Subaru Rudolph

Molly LOVED spotting the Rudolph cars last Christmas and made me promise to order one this year.  It finally arrived and I put it on before picking her up from school.  She LOVES it!

Christmas Crèche

Granny wanted to take Molly to see the Christmas Crèche display at a church up in Palo Alto.  We headed up after school.  Molly was a bit more interested in the people playing music and then the kids craft room.  

Afterwards we hit the recently opened Sam's Chowderhouse for some lobster rolls!

Jackson play date

The kids camped out on the couch and told me this was their new home… and to bring them snacks!
