3 months old

Miss Molly turned 3 months old today. She's currently passed out on the breast friend pillow that's still cinched around my waist making typing an interesting task. Her teething has started to affect her taste for the bottle. Sometimes she simply refuses to take it. I'm not sure if the bottle doesn't feel good on her aching gums or if she just wants the comfort of the boob or both. This is usually an issue at night, but yesterday I had to give her the boob at my mom's house. Of course she then proceeded to down 8 ounces on the bottle an hour later and then had the boob again less than an hour after that. So, it's still such a hit or a miss on what she's in the mood for.

Molly is also getting better with sitting up on her own. I got a boppy to help and it seems to be doing the trick. She can hold herself upright unassisted for a minute or two. Of course once her big ol' noggin starts leaning in any direction that's not upright she tends to follow, but her coordination is getting better every day. She's starting to grab at everything and put it in her mouth to see what it is. This plus her excessive drool from teething makes her a bit of a slimer. You can always tell where Molly has been.

Molly is still talking up a storm. She loves to tell stories. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if she had a first sentence rather than a first word. When I'm reading to her I keep expecting her to start reading along with me. Her favorite place to chatter is the changing table. The girl loves to be naked.

I am still trying to squeeze a few more wears out of her 3-6 month clothing, but it's becoming more and more apparent that the 6 month and 6 to 9 month clothing fits best. Which is a shame because I have a ton of 3-6 month onesies that she'll probably never wear. They are just not long enough.
