leave it to a Hickson...

I'll be scarce this week, as I'm in Sacramento visiting grandpa Hickson in the hospital. He had a logging accident and broke his back. There is no spinal cord injury, just the messed up L1 vertebrae, but it appears to be quite painful. We talk to the surgeon in the morning to see what the next steps are... likely a hard brace for weeks, and then see how things are doing. Off to bed to get some much needed rest now (both of us).
